Moving Sound project begins with a question: how do music and dance relate with each other in contemporary performance?

Moving Sound strives to create a common ground, a common vocabulary for the two genres, in order not only to coexist through synchronic monologues, but to engage in actual dialogue on stage.

Four Jazz funk musicians on stage along with three contemporary dancers, counterpoint, overlap, complete and replace each other aiming to create a jazz dance septet, and participate in a common rather than parallel narration. A narration of creating relations that form the performance, that bind the two genres in one, that interconnect both dance and music, movement and sound in a common ground which is nor arbitrary, nor descriptive, but inter-shaping.
